Prema dokumentu napisanom na latinskom jeziku od 7. januara 1385. godine, Bernat Ljopart (ili Bernardus Leopardi) je dobio prenos pojedinih vinograda koji se nalaze u sadašnjem imanju Can Llopart de Subirats.
To je prva veza između Llopart de Subirats i vinogradarstva, odnos koji se održava neprekidno do danas.

Vekovima je porodica Ljopart kombinovala uzgoj tradicionalnih mediteranskih proizvoda: vina, pšenice i maslina. Krajem 18. veka, Ljopartovi su odlučili da se posvete isključivo vinogradarstvu, kao što je to uopšte bio slučaj u regionu.

Godine 1887, Pere Massana je počeo da etiketira svoje penušavo vino imenom farme koju je imao u Subiratsu, Ljopart.
Iz tog razloga je koristio veoma posebnu etiketu, onu koja još uvek pokriva sve Llopart boce. Na etiketi možete videti panoramski pogled na seosku kuću Llopart de Costa i okolne planine. Početkom 1950-ih, Pere Llopart Vilaros dao je novi podsticaj vinarijama. Aktivno je doprineo prepoznatljivosti i davanju prestiža zanatskim penušavim vinima, među kojima se Llopart etablirao među najkvalitetnijim. Tako je Ljopart učinio izrazom suštine zemlje i vinograda.

Growing grapes didn’t start as a passion for me; at first, it was just a job. But the more I did it and the more I learned, the more I became personally invested in the land and the vines. I found my calling being outdoors.

Rotating seasonal jobs took me as far north as Alaska, where I guided outdoor adventure trips and fished for salmon, and to the Southern Hemisphere where I worked in vineyards.
I made vineyard management my career and I’ve never considered anything else.
